Maybe it’s because of the time of year, but lately we can’t help reflecting on our good fortune. As an electric cooperative, we are profoundly shaped by the community we serve. In our eyes, that means you’re the reason for our success.

No, really. We were founded by community members just like you; led by them; and over the years we’ve grown and adapted to serve our members even better. So we thought this might be a good time not just to reflect, but to explain how we try every day to show our appreciation for all that you’ve done to make us who we are today.

Two Cheers for Homeowners

When it comes to energy efficiency, homeowners crushed it this year. By making energy efficiency upgrades and embracing creative ways to save energy, the changes you made in 2018 made a difference to the whole co-op.

We’re so grateful for that (and we’d bet that your neighbors are too). You helped make energy more affordable for everybody, and for that we can’t thank you enough.

Thankful for C&I Members, Too

Our commercial and industrial members share a commitment to energy efficiency, too. We appreciate you letting us help with your projects this past year, and trusting us to help make your facilities even better. Walking us through your buildings to look for ways to improve efficiency, letting us up on your roof to check your HVAC units, and working with us to find new ways to reduce your energy use all made a big difference to the whole community.

We appreciate your commitment to the people and the places we serve. When we all work together, it makes a big difference—but we couldn’t do it without you.
